1. The Prize Draw. This monthly prize draw is being promoted by Clear Score Technology Limited (“DriveScore”), a company registered in England and Wales with registration number 09221862 and whose registered office is at Vox Studios, VG 203, 1-45 Durham Street, London, SE11 5JH. By entering this Prize Draw, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If there is any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and any other terms published by DriveScore, these terms and conditions prevail. DriveScore reserves the right to refuse entry to the Prize Draw or refuse to award the Prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
2. Prize Draw Period. The first monthly Prize Draw Period starts at 00:00 GMT on 24 August 2024 and closes at 23:59 GMT on 24 August 2024. The next monthly Prize Draw Period will commence at 00:00 GMT one calendar month later and close at 23h59 GMT of that same day. This shall continue on the 24th of each month at the discretion of DriveScore, until DriveScore gives notice that it is ending these monthly prize draws (each respective period, a “Prize Draw Period” and each respective monthly prize draw, a "Prize Draw").
3. Eligibility. Entry to the Prize Draw is open to DriveScore users who:
- are permanent residents of the United Kingdom;
- unless you have opted out, you will be automatically entered into the Prize Draw if you have downloaded the DriveScore app and have a 365-day score of 750 or higher during the Prize Draw Period. We will email DriveScore users to notify them of the Prize Draw. If you are eligible and do not wish to take part in any Prize Draw, you are able to opt out by following the opt out link in that email, or alternatively by emailing Help@drivescore.com. If you change your mind, you can opt back into future Prize Draws by emailing Help@drivescore.com;
- are over 18 years old by the end of the Prize Draw Period;
- are not operating any fraudulent DriveScore accounts,
(an “Eligible User”).
Contractors, employees and/or workers of DriveScore or any of its affiliates, or their respective immediate family members, are not eligible to enter into this Prize Draw.
4. Eligible Users will be automatically entered into the Prize Draw. Only one entry per Eligible User is permitted per Prize Draw. DriveScore will randomly select (performed by a computer process) one Eligible User from all valid entries received from Eligible Users within one week from the end of the Prize Draw Period (the “Winner”). Each Winner for each Prize Draw will receive the annual cost of their current car insurance policy, up to a maximum amount of £3000 (“Prize”). To claim this Prize, you will need to (i) confirm that you consent to your surname, county and winning entry being made available to other entrants; and (ii) provide your car insurance documentation, which includes your policy number, name, and address, to confirm the annual cost of your car insurance.
5. Winner Notification. If you are a Winner, you will be notified via email within fourteen working days from the end of the relevant Prize Draw Period. To claim the Prize, you must (i) respond directly to the email; (ii) confirm that you consent to your surname, county and winning entry being made available to other entrants; (iii) provide your car insurance documentation, which includes your policy number, name, and address, to confirm the annual cost of your car insurance; and (iv) provide your bank details.
6. If a Winner either (i) does not respond within five working days of notification, and reasonable attempts have been made to contact them OR (ii) objects to any or all of their surname, county and winning entry being made available to other entrants; OR (iii) fails to provide their car insurance documentation, which includes their policy number, name, and address, within seven working days of notification, that Winner’s Prize will be forfeited and DriveScore reserves the right to select another Winner in accordance with these terms and conditions. This will continue until a Winner is established.
7. Once a Winner has responded to the email, they will receive the annual cost of their current car insurance policy, up to a maximum amount of £3000, as a cash transfer to the bank account shared in accordance with paragraph 6.
8. DriveScore shall have no responsibility for any errors (technical or human), any entries affected or invalidated by technical failures or malfunctions or for data corruption. DriveScore accepts no responsibility for any incomplete or illegible entries, or entries that fail to be validly and/or properly submitted.
9. Personal data collected and managed in connection to this Prize Draw will be handled in accordance with DriveScore's Privacy Policy and as otherwise stated in these terms and conditions.
10. Each Prize is non-transferable, non-negotiable, non-refundable and there is no cash alternative.
11. The surname and county of each Winner can be obtained by entrants after the Winner is confirmed for the relevant Prize Draw by emailing Help@drivescore.com. If you, as a Winner, object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being made available to other entrants, please contact DriveScore by email at privacy@clearscore.com. In such circumstances, DriveScore reserves the right to select another Winner in accordance with these terms and conditions.
12. By accepting their Prize, each Winner agrees that DriveScore may, but is not required to, make their entry available on its website and any other media, whether now known or invented in the future, and in connection with any publicity of the promotion.
13. DriveScore reserves the right to amend, vary, cancel, or withdraw these terms and conditions or the Prize Draw at any time without prior notice where it becomes necessary to do so.
14. DriveScore’s decision regarding any aspect of the Prize Draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
15. These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law. If any entrants to this Prize Draw wish to take court proceedings, then they must do this within the courts of England.
