The DriveScore referral challenge is a referral scheme run through the DriveScore app where you, a DriveScore customer, can refer your friends and family to sign up to create a DriveScore account.
If your referral successfully signs up, you will receive a ticket which will allow you to enter in to the DriveScore’s monthly prize draw to win a car. You can find more about the monthly prize draw here.
These T&Cs set out how our referral challenge works. For more information about the prize draw, please read the prize draw terms and conditions.
This DriveScore referral challenge is operated and run by Clear Score Technology Limited a company registered under the laws of England and Wales whose registered address is at Vox Studios, VG 203, 1-45 Durham Street, London, SE11 5JH.
To be eligible to participate in our referral challenge you must:
- be 18 or over and a UK resident;
- hold a valid full GB driver’s licence at the time of entry;
- have a DriveScore account and have read and accepted the DriveSore app terms and conditions; and
- have entered into the prize draw through the DriveScore app and have accepted the prize draw terms and conditions.
You won’t be able to take part in the Referral Challenge if you are a contractor or employee of Clear Score Technology Limited or any of its affiliated or associated entities or divisions, their advertising and promotional agencies or an immediate family member of one of those people.
How do I refer someone?
If you’re eligible, you can send your unique individual referral link found in the prize draw section of your DriveScore app to as many friends and family as you like.
How the Referral Challenge works
A referral will be successful once the person you have referred signs up and creates a DriveScore account.
For every successful referral:
- you will receive one (1) ticket straight away; and
- the person you refer will receive one (1) ticket once they have created a DriveScore account using your referral link and have entered into the prize draw.
Each referral ticket you earn will only be valid for the prize draw that occurs during the month in which the person you’ve referred creates a DriveScore account. For example, if the person you refer creates a DriveScore account on the 5th of March 2022, your referral ticket will only be valid for the March 2022 monthly prize draw.
The ticket the person you refer earns will only be valid for the prize draw that occurs during the month in which they sign up for an account and then enter into the prize draw. For example, if the person you refer enters into the prize draw on the 5th of March 2022, their ticket will only be valid for the March 2022 monthly prize draw.
Each ticket will enter you into a monthly prize draw and will increase your odds of winning a monthly prize draw.
There is no limit on the number of Referral tickets you can earn.
Unlike the tickets you can earn separately under the prize draw (see the prize draw terms and conditions), your and your referee’s ability to earn a referral ticket does not depend on either of your driving safety scores within your DriveScore apps.
We recommend that you read the prize draw terms and conditions for more information about how the prize draw works.
DriveScore has the right to amend, change, suspend or cancel this referral challenge:
- without notice to you at any time; and
- without liability, if, in its view, the referral challenge and/or the prize draw has been affected by tampering, fraud, technical issues, the use of alias identities, or any other issues or causes outside of DriveScore’s control.
If we do cancel the referral challenge without telling you beforehand, we’ll let you know by putting a notice on the DriveScore app or website.
DriveScore is not responsible or liable for any tickets that you or your referee do not receive due to you incorrectly referring a referee or due to the referee not creating a DriveScore account.
DriveScore also has the right to invalidate and/or exclude any entries which it deems to be ineligible or invalid in line with these T&Cs or the spirit of the referral challenge.
These T&Cs are based on the law in England and Wales and if there are any legal disputes about them, those will be resolved in a court in England or Wales. That also applies to non-contractual disputes – any dispute between us about anything not covered by these T&Cs.
